Dr. Hugh Anthony is a tri-sector athlete, human-centered innovator, servant leader, relationship builder and a high performance coach. A purpose-fueled executive and visionary leader, adept at culture transformation, customer-centric innovation, strategic partnerships, multi-sector stakeholder engagement, strategy and governance that is at the unique nexus of people, policy, program, processes and sustainability.
He is the Co-Founder and Managing Principal of The New Humanity Initiative®, an EDIB social enterprise that consults with international and national organizations on human equity, access and inclusion. With a demonstrated track record of collaboration, building and leading high performance teams, transforming organizational culture; he co-curate and co-create with individuals and organizations to help them thrive as storytellers, and communities of learning to amplify contribution, impact and value. He was selected as the Keynote Speaker for the Kiwanis International’s inaugural Education and Leadership Conference – Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Summit.
Dr. Hugh Anthony holds a PhD from University of Waterloo and completed executive programs at Harvard University, University of Colorado, Boulder and MIT. He is a Teaching Faculty at Toronto Metropolitan University and G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education where he continues to contribute to the teaching and learning ecosystems in national and international higher education institutions (HEIs). He believes "service is the rent we pay for living" and balances his professional endeavours as a former C-Suite executive, with a service ethic of giving back.

He has served as an advisory member and as a director on several boards that amplify social impact, economic well-being and sustainability for children, youth and community including Kiwanis International, Canadian Black Policy Network, the Global Jamaica Diaspora Council, Toronto Kiwanis Festival, Metropolitan Toronto Condominium Corporations and the Board of Governors, University of Technology, Jamaica. and Co-Chair, Kevin Pollard Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Dr. Hugh Anthony is a cinephile, coffeephile, oenophile, gastronome, and traveller and he loves the performing arts, even though he has now hung up his professional dancing shoes.
